Substrate
The unit is cast to the same engineered body as every SOPHSTONE trough sink. Nothing about the structure changes.

Application
Metal is laid onto the cured surface by hand, following the profile rather than sitting on top of it.

Burnish
The surface is worked back until the metal reads as metal under raking light, not as a coating.
Fine metal powder, derived from a solid metal block, is integrated into the SOPHSTONE material in place of conventional pigment to create the Liquid Metal finish.
The result is a surface with distinctive depth and subtle variation, revealing its metallic character as light moves across the form.
